My Life is not a Taylor Swift song

Despite my obsession with Taylor Swift songs, I am pretty darned ticked off right now that my life is not a Taylor Swift song.

Today was not a fairytale.
Everything has not changed.
The story of Us is a lot like a tradegy.
Yes, I do have lots of pictures I want to burn.
I should have said No a bunch of times.
The only place sparks fly is in a fire.
No, I can't watch it Begin Again,
No, I don't want to go back to December.

Just about the only thing right is that people are Mean.

I switch over my musical selection to angry chick music but that just brings me down.
Darn me and my hopeful demeanor.   Must I always have Hope? And Faith? and Love?
I guess it beats the alternative.

In the meantime, here is an excerpt from the book I am reading right now:
One chapter starts off with, "a capable wife, who can find?"
"Is it that hard to find a strong, capable and wise woman?"
"In the wisdom books, acquiring wisdom and acquiring a woman in one's life are parallel expressions"

Not many men have wisdom in their 20's and their 30's.
I suppose that is why the divorce rate is high for men who get married early and why men stay single til 40 now a days.

Taylor is a great story teller put to music, but wisdom she lacks.
I seriously hope she stays single til she is 35 because she has a lot of life and love ahead of her and I think she can write some good songs about 30 something singles.
