Doubting Thomas and Believing

Today's Gospel reading in Mass today was John 20: 19-31, also known as the Doubting Thomas Gospel.   I am currently watching A.D.: The Bible continued on NBC and just saw the Hollywood version of Doubting Thomas.

Jesus said to him, “Have you come to believe because you have seen me?
Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”
John 20: 19-31

"When People believe they make a better place" ~ Yes, Virginia there is a Santa Claus

The Bible says Faith like a Child will save you.
Matthew 18:3

Is believing in Santa Claus as a child a precursor to believing in Christ?

Lately the materialism of Christmas has extended beyond Children as adults are all over social media celebrating Santa, gifts, shopping, food and drink for the Holidays.

Are liberals who believe in the Santa traditions in December with the their children and then bash Christians in January for their Faith just being childlike and need to learn how they can deepen their adult faith into more spiritual matters?

What believing in Santa as Children shows us that you don't have to prove everything, Just believe.

As we grow up and learn about Jesus and the history of the Church, we are supposed to deepen our Faith.  Their is not as documented of a history of Santa Claus but their is of Jesus.
Are the unbelievers just not at the point in their life where they can/want to learn more about Jesus?

We walk by Faith, not by sight. We don't always see or know God's plan for us but it is out there and we just have to trust and follow his path. And at the end, we will look back at the bigger picture of the puzzle and know that each piece of our life makes sense in it all.
