You know, I am not for Barack Obama's communism like health care plan, aka socialized medicine but anything has got to better than the current system.
First of all, time spend with the doctor is decreasing.
I buy air, and radio stations with less time spend listening do not get my clients money.
The goal in radio is to increase consumer time spend listening ... why isn't my doctor trying to increase "time spent listening" to me and time with me .... after all I am paying a $20 co pay as opposed to DJ's talking to listeners who listen for free.
Secondly, I go look at my benefits coverage booklet online tonight and its like reading Greek. I am in America right .... well I hope so, ESPN did promote the NFLatino a lot last night during Monday Night Football during the valequeros de Dallas game. Was I watching Monday Night Football or Lunde Noche Futbal Americano ?
I just could not figure out how much of an outpatient procedure for my hand is covered.
I just want something in simple laymens terms ... yes or no, 50% of 80% or 100% ?
And what is a qualifying charge ... that is left vague.
Thirdly, my last claim was an ER visit that comprised of XRays, Valium and a :10 thumb adjustment to put my jaw back in place. I paid the $75 ER Co Pay but I was the bill for what the hospital billed my insurance company ... outrageous. Did they really have to charge $2000 for an oral surgery procedure ... you mean the :10 thumb adjustment. Yeah, that was tough.
I think there was some inflation there and health insurance companies are not going after the hospitals for it. They could and save some money. Where is the auditer when you need them ?
Oh I know, the auditers are making sure I know how to estimate ratings and and document my clients spending appropriately. Can you say bigger fish to fry ?
All I know is I been paying for health insurance all my checks, help a brother out.
Joanna's Humble Opinion: Limit the power of shrill attorneys suing doctors for millions over a $100 procedure ... and Doctors malpractice and insurance will go down and in turn their operating expenses will go down and in turn can provide more reasonable prices to the consumer in turn, saving health insurance companies some dough.
Doesn't seem like too much rocket science huh ?
Thoughts and opinions ?
