Two Crystal Trophy Club

Congratulations Florida Gators and Welcome to the 2 BCS Crystal Balls trophy club.

I was comtemplating the similarities between LSU and Florida during the game

1) They are both in the SEC
2) Both college towns experience 70 degree temperatures on Christmas Day
3) Urban Meyer started in 2005, Les Miles started in 2005
4) Both previous coaches left to go to the NFL (Saban:Miami::Spurrier:Redskins)
5) Both previous coaches came back to the SEC in the same SEC East or SEC West division, respectively
6) Both teams won their National Championships against OSU and OU
7) Meyer won his first title in 2006 his second year, Miles won in 2007 his third year, then Meyer again ... one smart thing the announcers did say tonight was that one conference has not won 3 yrs in a row since the '40s ... did I hear that right, correct me if I am wrong someone.
That is not really a similarity as it is a cool fact

I think 6 is enough for right now.

I must say though, Hats off to OU ... they played a tougher defense than I expected and kept it close. It was a valiant fight by the Sooners. Good Job for getting this far !
