Why I won't do online dating

I have told a few people why I won't do online dating and it is very simple.
I prefer to meet someone in person. People have been communicating in person and meeting in person for more than 100 years before the internet. Just because it is new, does not make it better. People can look good on a screen in a profile but you don't marry someone's stats, you marry the person.
Let me give this analogy for you.

For my media buying friends:
Dating online is like buying to spec and calling the buy done. You can always get a better deal if you pick up the phone and negotiate with a person to negotiate upgrades and added value.


For my football friends:
Dating online is like reading a player's stats in the sports section. The 160 yds of passing in the game looks great on paper but when you play/watch the game, you know the real story behind the 160 yards.

Go beyond the stats and specs, negotiate and communicate with me and I am a great girl in person, not just on paper.
