"The U.S. Postal Service lost $15.9 billion last year and is looking at closing a bunch of post offices to save cash (along with ending Saturday delivery). But a city councilman in Berkeley, California -- where an iconic post office is in the crosshairs -- has an idea to raise money. He wants the federal government to start taxing emails. He says a tax of 1/100 of a penny per email would be pretty painless. What would you think of an "email tax" to help subsidize the post office and to maintain and improve the internet?"
Show me a company that knows how to balance a budget with existing revenue and handle an operations cost increase with existing revenue and I will show you a real businessman who knows how to do a job. Why should business people balance a budget when the Government is not doing it, just keep raising prices.
At some point, the bubble will burst.
