19 felonies and Counting ...

So as I am reading this article I decided to take it line by line and add some things.
Here is the link to read the whole thing, sourced:

What many don’t realize is that the backlash in the news and social media is only victimizing those girls all over again. They are once again reliving every horrid detail of something that happened over a decade ago, something that they put behind them — even if we can’t understand how or why.
Your own article post is helping them relive the horrid details of something that happened over a decade ago.

This is something the family had addressed, and luckily, were able to overcome. Although we may not agree with their methods of doing so, who are we to tell any victim the right way to handle and cope with their abuse and their feelings that result from it?
If who are we to tell any victims the right way to handle and cope, then why is their a need for your article.

If you’ve ever been sexually abused, it’s not something you want thrown into the public limelight for all to talk about and judge. Police investigated. No charges were pressed. The family, especially those girls, shouldn’t have their entire lives put on trial by public opinion over a decade later by people lacking the specific details of what exactly happened.
The Dugger family did exactly this, they handled it behind the scenes without a media circus giving the girls time to heal privately and Josh time to seek help privately.   Not everything about people needs to be known to the US TV HH universe.  They entertained on a show, they did not have to reveal all and perhaps that is the problem with reality TV, too many people think they deserve to know everyone's business.  Maybe the world needs less focus on TV, more focus on improving what you see in the mirror.

The Duggars did exactly what you should do in a personal family matter, fix it behind closed doors and not tell the world.   Perhaps we should take a lesson from that as a model for Christian living instead of bashing them.   I guarantee you, sexually curious teenagers do the same things, if not worse in athethist homes.

Let he without sin cast the first stone/ Judge not let ye be judged.
